Australia has a plastics problem. We produce over 2.5 million tonnes of plastic waste each year, equating to 100 kg per person. Of this, only 13% of plastic is recovered and 84% is sent to landfill.

e.sup stands for End Single-Use Plastics. While it seems like a big mission, it’s one where we believe every little change counts.

Our homes should be our sanctuaries, our safe places, our happy places. Yet so many of the products we use to keep them clean contain toxins and unsafe ingredients.

Motivated by the premise that powerful cleaning doesn’t need harsh chemicals, we’ve combined scientific formulations with natural cleaning agents. The result is harm-free, non-toxic cleaning products for every part of your home.

As a mum with two children I wasn’t ready to return to the corporate world I used to love before having a family.  Whilst looking to detoxify our home, and with a love of creating things, some years ago I began dabbling in DIY home cleaning.  This journey uncovered for me the reality that more than 90% of home cleaning products we buy are water.  At the same time it was becoming more evident that we are drowning in plastics.  

In Australia, our water quality is amazing.  We don’t need to be buying plastic bottles of water.  The idea of conscious living and trying to leave little impact on the world we live for the future of our children became more and more important.  

I found a Sydney based lab to take what I had created to refine.  This is when e.sup evolved…
