Have you made any conscious changes to waste this month?
"We don't need a handful of people doing zero waste perfectly. We need millions of people doing it imperfectly." Anne Marie Bonneau, author of The Zero Waste Chef.
All it takes is for most people to make just a few small changes to their approach to waste to make a difference. In our previous post we made a few suggestions of the easy changes you could make, lets extend these ideas to perhaps:
- buying, where you can, goods that don't have plastic packaging.
- reducing your use or stop using plastic wrap, there are so many great alternatives to try.
- swapping out some of your bathroom products, such as: from plastic exfoliating sponges to natural loofah sponges, plastic toothbrush to a bamboo brush or disposable razor to reusable razors with replaceable blades.Make the easy changes first and try just one at a time, Rome wasn't built in a day!
